It's official - Foreclosure is Depressing
The University of Pennsylvania has published research this week in the American Journal of Public Health on the - not surprising - link between foreclosure and depression.
Nearly half of the report's participants in Philadelphia whose homes were in foreclosure reported depression symptoms, and more than 1/3 of the participants "met screening criteria for major depression."
All struggling homeowners know that facing foreclosure can be a daunting - even depressing - undertaking. If you're struggling with your house payments... you're not alone. In Minnesota, there is a network of non-profit housing counselors ready, willing and able to assist YOU. For more information, click here.
